BEHIND THE LENS

Hello! My name is Jared Fessler, [he/him] owner and photographer of Jared Fessler Photography. I am an Iowa native, now residing in Minneapolis, MN. I attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, where I received my Bachelor's in Marketing and Communications, Theatre, and Music. Additionally, I received training in BFA musical theatre from Millikin University in Decatur, IL. I obtained my Masters in Public Administration & Organizational Management from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. I also have a day job with an IT training, certifications, and careers pathways program. I am also a model/actor with the Wehmann Agency. I am involved with the Miss Minnesota Organization. I also write for Broadway World Minnesota, Music in Minnesota, and Minnesota Playlist.

                           

                            

 

I have always loved photography! I enjoyed taking and being in photos. I also have my certificate in Photography, Event Planning, & Interior Design. I still attend photography workshops, classes, & wedding vendor events. I also enjoy collaborating with other photographers and artists. Always learning and growing, I consider myself a work in progress.

​Outside of photography, I enjoy running, yoga, architecture, movies, music, dance, theatrical productions, playing guitar, concerts, museums, art, vintage shops, puppies, & original coffee shops. Throughout the Twin Cities, I have had theatre opportunities.
